From Scot Lehigh's op-ed in today's Boston Globe: The health care cost containment plan offered by public sector unions yesterday "is so silly it doesn’t even merit respectful consideration."

As he points out, "Here’s the real question. Why should local unions be able to negotiate health plan details at all? After all, state employees can’t. Nor can most federal employees."

Nor, I would add to that, can those of us who work in the not-for-profit and the private sector, which is the majority of taxpayers and voters.
